Liz Scott is a coach and trainer who works with a wide variety of individuals and organisations, ranging from police forces to education authorities. She collaborates with schools and works directly with children, teachers and head-teachers. And one of the interesting things about Liz is that she worked as a reporter and producer for the BBC for 12 years..

Liz started out in a much different direction, but when she realized what she thought was her dream was not what she expected, she made a huge pivot into the world of coaching. (0:39)

She shares that there was something in the whole area of coaching that lit her up inside, and as a result she left her job at the BBC and started her own business about 10 years ago. (3:11)

Li started out coaching people for free, as she wanted to develop her craft first and make sure she was able to provide a solid service to her clients. (8:00)

One of the biggest insights or realizations that Liz has had since beginning her journey in coaching was being introduced to the principles of clarity. (12:12)

Liz has always been able to make a living on being a coach, and in that way she has been successful, but she notes that in the last few years she has really been able to do business a little differently. (21:08)

She transitioned away from charging by the hour and into a package model. Liz talks about the transition and how she navigated it. (27:44)
