#058 – Freedom, Authoritarianism & True Identity – A conversation with Garret Kramer – Get Clarity Podcast

Posted on November 17, 2021 by Jamie Smart

Released 17th November 2021 Subscribe: Spotify | iTunes | Stitcher

The recording you’re about to hear is a conversation with my dear friend and colleague Garret Kramer on the state of the world today.

It often seems to me like we’re living in the pages of a Marvel comic, and a lot has changed since Garret and I last spoke together in public, so it seemed like a good time to catch up.

We had a great conversation, and we covered topics as wide-ranging as the 3 Principles, authoritarianism, true identity, various mandates and much more.

Just before we get to that, I wanted to mention that the doors are now open for the January 2022 intake of our flagship Clarity Certification Training programme.

Clarity Certification has recently been accredited by the International Coaching Federation (the ICF) as a provider of Continuous Coach Education, so if you’re already an ICF-certified coach, you can use the programme to earn CCE units. Either way, you can take part in CCT with full confidence that the programme is fully accredited by the ICF as a Continuous Coaching Education provider. And you can save up to £2000 when you book your place by the end of November. Just go to www.JamieSmart.com/coach.

So now to the episode.

“There is no outside” but it is valuable to “point out the flaws” (of the outside) ?

It’s like… “I am a separate entity, I need to point out the flaws of the other entities”?

or “there is no virus outside that can harm us… but there is a ‘goverment’ (or people who seek control) outside that can manipulate us”?

For me those are contradictory statemets. or what am I missing?

Thankyou for this insightful, honest and thought provoking podcast. It was so very reassuring to hear two people I respect, discussing the really topical issues of today. The perspective and thinking you shared was so very interesting and resonated with me on so many levels.

You’ve had a lot to say over the years about my work, so no surprise here. You criticize and then ask a question. Why don’t you ask the question and then if, need be, criticize? Anyway, the “flaws” appear inside. TIn other words, the dream and nightmare both appear inside the mind of the one in bed sleeping.

The statements appear contradictory because they are meant to be. Why don’t you reach out to discuss once and for all?

Thank you Jamie and Garret for sharing this very timely conversation.

I loved listening to you both share your experiences and your perspectives around the current situation.

So many great things to take away from this episode, however if I had to state one thing that really stood out most it would be the part when you both explored Judging vs Blaming. Very insightful.

Jamie, thank you for reminding me about Gavin DeBecker’s book that I read many moons ago.

I’ll be sharing this podcast far and wide.

As all is consciousness with no duality there is really no where to go and nothing to do
Life plays out through us as we jump on patterns and paths of this is right and this is wrong.
We are not driving the bus whether the bus driver (opinion former) wishes us to go on his bus rather than another
    Waves of the ocean
It felt to me as G was very driven by his patterns and not very open to the rich trapestry of life’s unfoldment in the world

I could not have been more excited and intrigued to listen to this interview. I know last year you supported much of what I was saying Garret and so I’m looking forward to hearing what you have to say a year on.

It has been very disappointing for me that much of the ‘3 Principles community’ has stayed silent on this hugely important subject, which is very much about the prophesised ‘end of times’. There has never been a more important time to speak up, (which is at times tricky now that censorship is at an all time high). I’ll post again once I have listened.

I liked this conversation a lot. And I liked this version of Garret whom I had stopped paying attention to awhile back. I also realized why both of you, Jamie and Garret might get me rile up…it’s because I have that same personality trait of being contrarian that you discussed!

    Thanks for an interesting discussion!
