Sky TV Interview – Clarity, Performance and Leadership

Posted on March 14, 2013 by Jamie Smart

Yesterday I was interviewed for 13 minutes on Sky Sports TV, discussing the role that clarity has to play in performance and leadership. While the context of the interview was football and football management, I was careful to point out that these principles apply to every aspect of human endeavour. I hope you admire my restraint in how few times I said “Get Clarity” in the course of the interview 😉

By the way, you can still pop along to www.ClarityBook.biz to select the bonus package that resonates with you. Once you’ve got Clarity, do remember to claim your free bonus package!

To your increasing Clarity!

Thanks,

Jamie

PS On Tuesday, my book Clarity: Clear Mind, Better Performance, Bigger Results became an International Number 1 Bestseller on Amazon. Today, it’s Number 1 in the WH Smiths business charts! Thanks as ever for all your support!!!!!

Congrats on the attention, "Sports Performance Specialist" Jamie!
Yeah, the "Get Clarity" piece was great. I don't think people took notice but may nevertheless now be asking themselves where they can get it 🙂

Fabulous. Loved the consistent and unwavering message. And yes the totally shameless yet masterful instruction to get clarity at every potential juncture!!!

It was also interesting to listen to the interviewers, who seemed to be expecting a different answer for each of the (perceived) unique (!) circumstances and then getting the same answer each time. Because of course it does all come right back to the same thing. The freedom of mind we have in the moment.

    Jamie,

Congratulations on getting huge exposure to talk about Clarity. To me you demonstrated what it is to be congruent  with onself superbly.

I found the interviewer's questions  fascinating to listen to in that they asked the same question in many different ways, expecting to hear different responses every time.

Do you think they got the idea in the end 🙂 ?

    Big love, Anna

Well done Jamie! I don't know how much you know about football, but your understanding of the Inside-Out paradigm was eloquent for the task.

Lol… How many times can a man fit in the words "get clarity" in a sports interview? I love it!

    Dear Jamie

I bought a copy of Clarity at Bristol airport on my way to Paris for a week. I read the book whilst I was there and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was probably the most useful self-help book I have ever read. It occurred to me that you could write a whole series with titles like Purity, Equality, Security etc. Good luck with your next project – whatever it is.

    Best wishes from Simon

Congratulations Jamie! I'm not into sports but I watched the whole thing 🙂 that says a lot. True, you didin't say "clarity" as much as one might have expected….the catch phrase is "to have nothing on your mind". It's great to see how calm and clear you were in what I'd still call a high pressure situation!
